“I approached Simon as a fencing contractor in 2012 and have used his services ever since.
Simon was tasked with fencing grass fields and mixed-use fields with high tensile horse and livestock fencing, primarily to be able to paddock graze sheep and other livestock. The result has been a very professional series of high-tensile post and netting fences that will provide strong, hassle-free livestock-proof enclosures for many years to come.
The majority of the fencing materials have been sourced by Simon. This includes high quality, high tensile 1.10m netting and 30-year-spec wooden intermediary posts and strainers.
All of the fence lines have been professionally tensioned (no sagging or give) and the inclusion of gripples means that they can be re-tensioned in the future, if necessary.
Simon will tackle rough terrain and difficult-to-fence areas – eg. across ditches and streams – and is also very skilled at setting and hanging gates that, unlike others on the farm, will stand the test of time.
